Who operates Transcrever?
Transcrever is an online service operated from Brazil under the public identity transcrever.net. The same identity appears in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The official channel for account, billing, privacy, deletion, and support requests is support@transcrever.net.
Why does the service exist?
A recording may contain an important interview, lecture, meeting, episode, or video, but listening to the whole file again makes finding one passage slow. Transcrever was created to turn that speech into searchable, editable text while keeping the recording available for review.
The result is an automatic transcript, not a promise of perfect text. Check names, numbers, specialist terms, and overlapping speech against the audio before quoting, publishing, or making an important decision.
How can you check the service before uploading a file?
Open one of the public examples to see the recording, editable passages, speaker labels, and TXT, DOCX, SRT, and VTT files. Each example identifies the source and licence of the material used.
