Service transparency

Terms of Use

Understand how plans, billing, uploaded files, and automatic transcription limits work.

Last updated: 2026-08-15

These terms govern the use of Transcrever, operated under the name transcrever.net. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have read these conditions and the Privacy Policy.

The service

Transcrever converts audio and video files into text through automatic transcription. You can use the total anonymous trial without an account, create a Free account with the daily and monthly limits shown in the interface, or use the paid Pro and Studio plans with higher limits. Signing in with Google is optional. Cross-device task history is available on Pro and Studio, but not on a Free account.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

When subscription checkout is available, prices, currency, billing period (monthly or yearly), and the payment provider are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time in your account's billing portal or by email; paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made after that. Refund rules are in the Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

By using the service, you declare that you:

  • hold the rights or the authorization needed to upload and process the file;
  • will not upload content that is illegal, malicious, or that violates copyright, privacy, or other third-party rights;
  • will not attempt to bypass quotas, access controls, or security measures.

We may refuse or stop processing that violates these terms or puts the service at risk.

Your content remains yours

You keep the rights to the files you upload and to the generated result. transcrever.net receives only the limited authorization needed to process, temporarily store, display, export, and delete this content according to your request and the published deadlines.

Automatic transcription and accuracy

Results are labeled as "Automatic transcription." We do not guarantee accuracy: noise, accents, overlapping voices, recording quality, and technical terms can affect the result.

The service does not replace certified human transcription for judicial, medical, financial, or official decisions. Review the text before using it in any important context.

Retention and deletion

For a completed task, deletion of the original file is scheduled for 24 hours after completion. Failed and canceled tasks do not currently receive that automatic deadline and can be deleted manually. Transcripts and subtitles are retained for 7 days for anonymous use and Free accounts, 30 days on Pro, and 90 days on Studio. You can start deletion before these deadlines. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Public examples

The public examples identified in the interface show their recording source, attribution, and applicable license or public-domain status. Those terms apply only to the identified source material, not to the rest of the site.

Availability

The service is provided as is. We may change limits, prices, and features with prior notice under the published conditions; changes never reduce what you already paid for in the current period.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Questions can be sent to support@transcrever.net.
