What kind of video can I upload?
Upload MP4, MOV or WebM. Transcription uses speech from the audio track; images and on-screen text need to be consulted separately.

Check names, numbers, specialist terms, and speaker changes. Loud music, noise, quiet sound, and overlapping voices can require another listen.

Does Transcrever read images or on-screen text?
No. The transcript comes from speech in the audio track. Copy any information that appears only in the picture separately.
Which download format should I choose?
Choose TXT for plain text or DOCX to keep working in a document editor. Use SRT or VTT when you need speech organized with timestamps for subtitles.
What if the video is too long or too large?
Without an account, each file can be up to 10 minutes and 100 MB; Free allows 30 minutes and 200 MB. Pro allows 3 hours and 1 GB; Studio allows 6 hours and 2 GB. For occasional work, purchased minutes allow files up to 3 hours and 1 GB, or the Studio limit for existing Studio subscribers.
If you only need part of the video, trim a copy in a video editor before uploading. Check both ends: Transcrever does not split the video automatically. SRT/VTT times start from the uploaded copy; adjust their position if you use the subtitles with the original video.
