What kind of OGG can I upload?
Voice messages exported from chat apps and recordings from some recorders arrive as OGG. The file must contain playable audio; the upload area shows the maximum file size for your access level.

What should you review before downloading?
Check names, acronyms, numbers, and subject-specific vocabulary. If people talk over each other, listen to the passage again before assigning the words to a speaker or using them as a quotation.
When will the audio need more correction?
Noise, music, low volume, and distance from the microphone can hide words. Listen to important sections and correct the text before sharing or publishing it.
If the file is empty or will not play, use another version of the recording before trying again.

Is the OGG a voice message from a chat app?
Yes, that format is common for voice messages. Save the audio file on your device and upload it like any other recording; the review works the same way.
What can I do if the OGG is over the limit?
The upload area shows your maximum file size. Maximum duration is 10 minutes without an account, 30 minutes on Free, 3 hours on Pro, and 6 hours on Studio. If the file exceeds the displayed limit, trim the section you need in an audio editor or compare the limits of the other plans before trying again.
Daily file limits are 10 without an account and 20 when using the Free allowance. Pro, Studio, and transcriptions using purchased minutes have no daily file-count limit; available minutes and per-file limits still apply.
What happens to the OGG after I upload it?
Once the transcription is complete, the uploaded audio file is deleted about 24 hours later. The transcript remains available for 7 days without an account and on Free, 30 days on Pro, and 90 days on Studio; download the reviewed file to keep your corrections.
If the audio is WAV or MP3
Recordings from editing software are usually WAV, and older files are MP3. The upload and review flow is the same for both formats.
